BM0488 is a coffee table and bench in one from the Carl Hansen & Søn brand, designed by Børge Mogensen in 1958. The furniture consists of solid oak, where the dense and inner part of the trunk, called heartwood, is skillfully shaped with traditional cabinet joints. The bench has an oiled surface treatment and a seat of double-woven rattan. As a bench, BM0488 looks good in the hallway or at the end of the bed, for example, and as a coffee table it fits perfectly next to both the armchair and the sofa.
