CH58 Low Stool is Hans J. Wegner's lower bar stool, designed in 1985 for the prestigious brand Carl Hansen & Søn. The bar stool was designed to be equally useful and suitable in a home environment as in public settings. In line with several of his other pieces of furniture, the CH56 bar stool also has an uncomplicated design language and a sparing mix of materials, constructed with well-considered design and solid craftsmanship. A beautiful detail is how the legs taper before they meet both the seat and the floor, which gives an elegant expression. For maximum durability, the footrest has also been anchored in the thickest part of the legs.

This version of the CH58 Low Stool comes with solid walnut legs and a stainless steel foot ring. This is then combined with a round padded seat in one of Carl Hansen & Søn's exclusive leathers, with a large palette of colors to choose from. The design is identical to the higher bar stool CH56 High Stool. The difference is found in the height of the bar stools, where this bar stool is best suited for, for example, a kitchen island while the higher one works with a bar counter or a bar table. However, always remember to measure before you buy a bar stool. There should be about 25-30 centimeters between the seat and the table top for optimal comfort.
