Atlas Collection – a limited and signed collection of lamps

The Atlas lamp series is designed by Mats Theselius and produced in a limited edition, signed and numbered by the designer himself. The series includes a table lamp, floor lamp, and wall lamp, all made of stainless steel with a textile cord. The construction is simple, and the materials are solid. Atlas is produced by Nya Manufaktur, which is Mats Theselius’s own production of objects. All components are made near his studio and home. Kirseberg Plåt och Mekaniska in Malmö laser-cut the lamp parts, and Sundelius in Ystad turned all the screws and nuts. Laserverkstan in Arlöv made the laser engraving on the lamp.

The name Nya Manufaktur is short for Mats Theselius Nya Manufakturaffär, located on Storgatan in Löderup. The building, mainly used as the Theselius family’s summer residence, also houses the manufakturaffär’s retail space. For the past 25 years, it has been used for exhibitions and, in recent years, as a summer shop selling furniture, lamps, slippers, and other items designed by Mats. The shop features furniture and objects from companies Mats collaborates with, as well as his own production of various items and printed materials.
