H55 is a sun lounger designed by Björn Hultén in 1955, which is manufactured by Skargaarden. In its simplicity, the H55 is everything you need in a sun lounger - convenience and elegance in one. Made entirely of wood with a hard-wearing seat in different fabrics.
H55 is the abbreviation of the Helsingborg Exhibition in 1955, where the sun lounger was presented for the first time. During the fair, a number of well-known designers were represented: among others Alvar Aalto, Finn Juhl and Arne Jacobsen. However, Hultén's sun lounger H55 stood out in the crowd - the simple materials combined with a striking Scandinavian elegance were a big hit and the chair is still appreciated as much today.
Note! The canvas edition is for indoor use only.
