The CH26 armchair, designed in 1950 by Hans J. Wegner, was commissioned by Carl Hansen & Søn who wanted to translate the design language of the CH22 armchair into a dining chair. However, no prototype was made at the time, only a drawing. It was not until 2016 that the brand launched the forgotten armchair, and today it is available in several different types of wood and surface treatments. Here you see the CH26 dining chair in walnut with a natural-colored seat. You will also find an alternative with a mix of both walnut and oak.
