Daphine is a table lamp from the Italian brand Lumina. Designed in 1975 by Tommaso Cimini and originally produced in his workshop in Sedriano near Milan, it has become part of Lumina’s foundational lighting collection. Daphine remains an emblem of functional design and minimal engineering.
This halogen version features a pivoting head, a two-segment articulated arm, and a cylindrical base containing an electromechanical transformer. It produces direct, focused light with accurate color rendering.
The lamp reflects Cimini’s guiding principle, “a lot of light, not much lamp,” and is suited to a wide range of settings—from desks and pianos to display counters and shop windows.

The lamp is equipped with a switch button offering two light intensities.
