Mariposa Sofa 3-Seater was designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby for the Swiss brand Vitra. The sofa is made of a metal frame with molded polyurethane foam with feather-filled seat cushions and polyurethane rods. The seat height without cushions on the sofa is 28 cm. The armrest can be tilted from a straight position up to 30° outwards so you can choose the way you want it. The name of the Mariposa Sofa refers to its elegant functionality. The designer was inspired to create the wing-shaped armrests by a butterflymariposa in Spanish. The sofa is available in a variety of finishes, making it possible to create a personal and unique sofa. Also available as a two-seater and a two-and-a-half seater sofa.
