Vitra launches the Eames Fiberglass Side Chair with La Fonda base as a limited edition, where the seat designed by Charles and Ray Eames is combined with cushions in Toostripe fabric by Alexander Girard. The chair is available in two color versions, with 250 copies of each. Charles and Ray Eames were close friends with designer and interior designer Alexander Girard, and they mutually influenced each other's work. Girard and Eames' archives are part of the Vitra Design Museum collection and were the starting point and inspiration for Vitra when designing this limited edition.
