Mariposa Corner Sofa is designed by Edward Barber Jay Osgerby 2014/2020 for the Vitra brand. The sofa has a metal frame of polyurethane foam and seat cushions of polyurethane and viscose foam, filled with feathers and PU rods. The Mariposa Corner Sofa is part of the Mariposa family, whose extraordinary comfort comes from the pleasantly soft upholstery and a mechanism that allows the armrest to be adjusted from straight up to 30°. The name Mariposa refers to its elegant functionality, the inspiration for the wing-shaped armrests coming from a butterfly.
